Remember that weekend that changed everything?

An inspirational story that changes the outdoor experience

It was a sunny Saturday. The family and I drove three hours to camp at California’s famous Yosemite National Park. The trunk was stuffed with tents, sleeping bags, folding chairs, a grill, food, and drinks — packing alone took an hour.

But the real challenge began the moment we stepped out of the car.

Hard carrying

Our campsite was on the other side of a hill, a full 500 meters from the parking lot. I hauled a loaded cart, my wife carried our three-year-old daughter, and we trudged along a rocky path. The cart’s wheels kept sinking into the soft dirt, the heavy gear making my arms ache. Halfway there, I had to stop and rest three times.

  • “If only this cart could move by itself,” my wife said, wiping sweat from her brow.

  • “Better yet, if we could ride it,” I added.

That’s when a crazy idea flashed through our minds: why not combine electric assist with a rideable design for a camping cart? Why should anyone push heavy gear when they could ride it comfortably to their destination?

The answer to that question became the starting point of our product.

Two years of R&D, all for one perfect outdoor experience

Back at the company, we immediately formed an R&D team of mechanical engineers, electronics engineers, and outdoor enthusiasts. Our goal was clear: create an electric camping cart that could haul serious gear AND let the user ride it.

Sounds simple? The execution was anything but.

Balancing load capacity with range

Camping gear alone can weigh over 100 kg. Add a rider, and total load can exceed 200 kg. To achieve a decent range under that weight, we had to find the sweet spot between motor power, battery capacity, and overall weight. After countless iterations, we settled on a high-efficiency brushless motor and a high-energy-density lithium battery pack, achieving an impressive performance: over 150 kg max load and a range exceeding 30 km.

Safety for the rideable design

Traditional carts have four PVC wheels and limited stability. For safe riding, we redesigned the chassis with a wider wheelbase and a low center of gravity. We also added an electronic brake system and smart speed control for a safer, more reliable ride.

All-terrain capability

What we’re most proud of? Its all-terrain capability. Campsites are often on sand, grass, or hills. We developed oversized all-terrain tires paired with an intelligent torque distribution system, so it glides easily even on soft sand or muddy trails.

More than a cart, it’s your outdoor companion

When our first prototype was ready for testing, we couldn’t wait to return to that life-changing campsite.

This time, I rode the electric camping cart, loaded with all our gear, easily cruising up the path that had once exhausted me. My wife sat in the spacious rear basket holding our daughter. We laughed all the way, enjoying the breeze on our faces.
